Fateful (Review)

Fateful by Claudia Gray was a good book, but it was not my favourite. The book takes place in London, England in the April of 1912. It is about a girl named Tess Davies who is a servant to the Lisle family. She goes on a voyage with the Lisle family on the RMS Titanic. She meets a boy about her age named Alex, and they fall in love. But Alex has a secret that puts both of them in danger.

The Selection (Review)

The Selection, by Kiera Cass, is one of my all-time favourite books. It is about a girl named America Singer. America lives in a land that is organized with castes. People have castes and are only allowed to do jobs within those castes. Caste One is royalty. The people in Caste Two are a step down from royalty, and they are very rich by default. They can do almost anything they want. Caste Three is known for being teachers or writers. The people in Caste Four are farmers. The people in Caste Five (America is Caste Five) are known for doing jobs like singing, dancing, playing music, or creating art.  Caste Six are cleaners, they tidy up people's houses. Caste Seven are servants. And Caste Eight are homeless and have no money, jobs, or food, etc. America is chosen to participate in an event of which 35 girls will go to the palace and compete against each other for the Prince's hand in marriage.
The Selection is the first book out of a trilogy. Kiera Cass is an amazing writer, and when I started this book, I was immediately entangled in the life of America Singer. If you like a book about Romance, this is a good one for you.

Maximum Ride (Review)

The third book I read was called Maximum Ride by James Patterson. This book is about 6 children who escaped from an evil science lab. They were experimented on in the lab, and they were created by the scientists. They have wings, because the scientists grafted avian DNA with human DNA. The book is about their adventure of trying to escape the school, and other things. The genre of this book is Adventure.  It was an exciting book, and the first in a series of eight. These books were amazing, and if you like books that are action-packed, this is a good one for you

Enchanted (Review)

The second book I read was called Enchanted by Alethea Kontis. It is a mix between all the fairy tales we heard about as children, but with a twist to each one. It was an amazing book that was intriguing all the way through. It has romance, adventure, and fantasy. If you like books that are about fairy tales, then you will like this one.

In The After (Review)

If you like post-apocalyptic books, this is a good one for you. It is about earth being overrun by strange alien creatures and the main character, Amy, trying to survive.
The book "In The After" by Demetria Lunetta was very well written. The author used words other than "said" or "ran" so it didn't get boring. She used a wide range of vocabulary and the words were always interesting.
In my opinion, i think that the whole concept of the book was really cool. I couldn't stop thinking about the book. It was riveting and intriguing. I read the book all the time and found it very hard to stop because you are always at an exciting part. There is always something happening. In the ending of a situation you find yourself reading a new one. Demetria Lunetta pulled me right into her book "In The After," and I read it until there was no more to be read. This book was amazing, to say the least.

Prologue

I have started this blog to review books. Reading is my hobby. I read on my free time and whenever I can. My favourite genre of books to read is Dystopian/Futuristic. If you like this genre of books too, you will like my blog! The first book I will read is called "In the After" by Demitria Lunetta. My local librarian has requested it to me because she and I both like Dystopian books, so I know I will like it. I look forward to reading this book!
